Hola,The baptism was awesome. I wont lie that was one of the best birthdays ive had. Really i forgot it was my birthday i was worried about the baptismal font filling cause we have been having problems with it. Then the lady that we baptized said happy birthday i was like ooo yeaaahh. Then after the baptism she invited us to go eat at this fancy restaurant. It was fun. And she gave me a Gucci key chain. Oh and tomorow we are going to the temple im excited for that. Yep i got the email with aunt tinas card. Tell her thank you so much and give her a bigg biggggg hug. Well things sound interesting on the slades side but sound pretty boring at our house. haha Dont worry you just have to make it fun. But yeah ill give you the details when i call. Umm yeah i dont know what the time difference is is cant be much. But yeah ill call that morning to agree on things alright? Well love you guys have a happy and very merry christmas. Hello family,Im getting excited about calling. Yeah i was thinking that would be tough to move right before christmas thats good that kind of worked out just hope he will still buy it huh? Yeah this week should be good the work will be hard but we have two baptisms for my birthday. Yeah they are awesome. It is a single mom with her 11 year old son. It was cool cause we hadnt talked to her for awhile cause she had a lot of work, and she never told us if she was going to church this week so we went and there she was. She had left town for a few days and she said they got back at 5 in the morning then she went to church at 9. That was awesome seeing her faith and how ready she is to get baptized. I know that probably doesnt sound that awesome but this shows that she is really converted and that she will stay active. Oh and with the packages i recieved two on wednesday cause thats when we get our mail. Im guessing this wed ill get the third. Like really ive never heard of anyone not getting a package but im guessing if you put some worth a lot maybe not. But yeah there are always a lot from the states. But yeah i love this time of year its not quite the same here but at least they put up lights and trees and stuff. Well just remember the spirit of christmas and what its really about. Hey family,
Sounds Crazy there. So it doesn't sound like you'll be in the house for Christmas or will you? So when I call where do I call to? Well I still have a couple of weeks so you'll have to let me know. No I still haven't gotten any packages but I'm thinking this week. The thing is they usually get here but when they come through pouch I think it takes about twice as long. But yeah I'm ready for Christmas. You'll have to let me know if you put in any extra $ and how much okay. I don't think anything will be coming to you guys. I still haven't been in an area where they sell Mexican things. Yeah I got to watch a little bit of the devotional about 25 minutes. But it's not the same in Spanish well the speakers but the choir was the same. I think I only heard two or three songs though. But yeah that's awesome that gas is going down maybe when I get back it will be down at $.25 haha. Well this week was good we found a lot of new people and we have baptismal dates with two. Its going to get a little hard though cause the people are starting to go on vacations since most of them are from other states. But I always love this time of the year least they know how to celebrate Christmas, well almost. There's not quite the spirit of giving but they do put up a few lights and Christmas trees. What's up? Thanks for the video that was cool. Man i missed thanks giving but o well only one more left. But yeah with the cold umm it got cold for a week or so but has warmed up lately. I'm hoping it stays that way until I buy a coat. I think elder curtis is in an area thats not so much in the city so that's probably why. But yeah im trying to get some pics but there hasn't been anything i wanted to take a picture of. Hmm yeah but anyways yeah the work is really tough right now and is only going to get harder as we get further into the month cause they get more catholic during this time. But this week we took two people to church a mom and her son and i think they really liked it. Im excited they are really just taking in whatever we teach them so we will see. The others that we have been teaching know its the true church but they are more afraid of what their family will say and do than what God wants them to do. Its funny cause their families only go against them when they join the true church. They could join any other church and the family wouldn't say anything, but when it is the true church of Jesus Christ, they kick them out of the family. Its just frustrating their ignorance, their wickedness and corruption that they have been taught and brought up in. I am so thankful for the true church which teaches the true gospel and doctrine of Jesus Christ and the happiness that it brings us if we live it. The power of the priesthood and that we have a true prophet of God to lead us. Love you guys, hope you have an awesome week, and ill let you know if the packages arrive. Elder Crick
